The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents has approved 14 faculty promotions.
Following are those who have been promoted, academic department, and years of service.
Promoted to professor were: Darlene, J. Dunning, administrative services, nine years; Kenneth A. Heischmidt, marketing, seven years; Frederick T. Janzow, biology, 17 years; Russell D. Renka, political science, 14 years; Clifford D. Russell, elementary and special education, five years; and Carol A. Veneziano, criminal justice, four years.
Promoted to associate professor were: Rickert R. Althaus, political science, 12 years; Pamela S. Brakhage, foreign languages, six years; Ann D. Johnson, educational administration and counseling, four years; Patricia R. Karathanos, administrative services, 13 years; Sandra L. Renegar, elementary and special education, eight years; and James P. Sifferman, music, five years.
Promoted to assistant professor were: Judy A. Wiles, marketing, eight years; and Terri J. Woods, nursing, 10 years.
