WHITEWATER -- Melissa Ann Reitzle, a 1992 graduating senior from Delta High School, received a $250 scholarship from the Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies.

Rudy Nussbaum, president of Gordonville Mutual Insurance Company, presented the check.

Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies gave eight scholarships to graduating seniors throughout the state.

She is the daughter of James and Barbara Reitzel of Route 1 Whitewater. She will attend Southeast Missouri State University this fall, pursuing a degree in the health field. While in high school, she was involved in FFA, FHA, FBLA, National Honor Society, SADD, pep club, cheerleading, and was the school newspaper feature editor.

Other awards and scholarships Reitzel has received include: 1990 Missouri Agribusiness academy member, MFA scholarship, and recognition by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
