BENTON -- Gina Marie Schiwitz, a 1992 graduate of Kelly High School, will receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Shelter Insurance Foundation. The award is sponsored and partially funded by local Shelter agent Joe Stuckey.

Schiwitz may apply the award toward tuition, fees, room and board for any course of study leading to an academic degree at any accredited college or university.

Schiwitz was chosen on the basic of scholastic achievements, educational goals, citizenship, moral character, and participation and leadership in school and community activities. The selection was made by a committee of school officials and community leaders.
