As Riverfest grows, so does the need for Riverfest parking in downtown Cape Girardeau.

Riverfest organizers encourage people planning to attend Riverfest Friday and Saturday to avoid the anticipated traffic congestion in the downtown area by using the free Riverfest shuttle bus service.

Shuttle buses will run continuously between the Riverfest grounds and pickup points at West Park Mall and the Show Me Center.

Shuttle service will begin at about 4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday and will continue until 11 p.m. each day. As an option, buses will also stop at the Glenn House on Spanish Street. People can tour the historical house and walk a short distance down to Riverfest afterward.
