Dave Jackson, of 851 North Cape Rock Drive, has accepted a position at McDowell Ford Pontiac Buick in Perryville.

Jackson has worked at VanMatre Buick and Auffenberg Nissan Jeep-Eagle. He won the Salesmaster, Dealership Product Knowledge Champion and Walkaround Zone Champion awards from Buick.

Jackson and his wife Kathy have a son and a daughter.

Jennifer Eudy, a native of Cape Girardeau, has recently joined Bankers Life and Casualty as a "Career Agent."

Eudy is a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and received an associate degree in accounting from Trident Technical College in Charleston, S.C., graduating with honors.

She will be working out of the Cape office on William Street.

Eudy resides in Cape with her husband, Eddie, and son, Quinn.

TAMMS, Ill. The Tamms State Bank, with branches in Tamms and Cairo, has announced the addition of four new employees to their staffs.

John Reid Abercrombie III of Cape Girardeau has been named assistant financial officer of the Tamms location. Prior to his appointment, Abercrombie served as loan clerk with the bank.

Kevin J. Essner of Kelso was named vice president/farm officer of the Tamms location. Before working at the bank, Essner served as assistant county supervisor for the Farmer's Home Administration.

Jeffrey T. Palmer was hired as marketing officer of the Tamms bank. Palmer, from Villa Ridge, Ill., is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford.

Velma Riley of Mounds, Ill., has been named assistant cashier/head teller of the Tamms State Bank (Cairo facility). Prior to her joining the bank, Riley served as a special services representative at the First Bank and Trust Company in Cairo.
