JOANN C. SCHWEER

JACKSON -- Joann C. Schweer, 58, of Route 5, Jackson died Saturday, June 20, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 24, 1943, in Waynesburg, Pa., the daughter of James F. and Mary Falga Matz.

She lived in this area for the past 25 years, where she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. She formerly worked in the sales tax division of the Missouri Department of Revenue. She also worked for several years for the Cash Book printing company.

Survivors include a son, Jim Schweer of St. Louis; two daughters, Teresa Kock of Jackson and Kim Schweer of St. Louis.; three brothers, Frank Matz of Washington, Pa., Ralph Matz of Waynesburg and Andy Matz of Morley; three sisters, Nellie Moore of Finleyville, Pa., Theresa Lee of Waynesburg and Flora Kimpel of McMurray, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson, where parish prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink will officiate, and burial will be Saturday morning in Greene County Memorial Park in Waynesburg.
