Storms caused a tree to fall on two cars Wednesday night in the 00 block of North Ellis, Cape Girardeau police said. No injuries were reported and damage to the cars was minor.

Other storm damage in Cape Girardeau, Scott and Bollinger Counties was minor, authorities said. One tree was reported down in Jackson.

In Alexander County in Illinois, several trees and power lines were knocked down in the north end of the county, authorities said.

Power was out in several places in Alexander County for a short time, authorities said. No injuries were reported.
