Scott B. Smith has joined the staff of Professional and Therapeutic Massage Services (PTMS).

Smith attended massage therapy school at the Kaleidoscope School of Massage in St. Louis. He is trained in Swedish, Shiatsu, polarity, reflexology and stress reduction. He is certified by the American Massage Therapy Association.

PTMS has facilities at Universal Physique and at Main Street Fitness in Jackson.

Mike Trimble has joined Smith and Company Consulting Engineers of Cape Girardeau as transportation design engineer.

Trimble previously worked with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department's District 9 at Willow Springs as a highway design engineer. He has been involved in the design of several highway projects in southern Missouri.

Trimble is a 1987 graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla, with a Bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a member of Optimist International.

Trimble and his wife, Liz, are parents of two children: Kristina, 4, and Ethan, 8 months.

SIKESTON Lin Roberts has joined Media Consultants, a Sikeston advertising, marketing and public relations firm, in the art and graphic design departments.

Roberts relocated to Southeast Missouri from Urbana, Ill., after working as art supervisor and department manager for Solo Cup Co. for 10 years. There he worked on designs for cups for many national accounts, including Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola.

Roberts also has experience in layout and design for magazine, newspaper, brochure and office supply needs.

Media consultants was founded in 1978.
