The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band, under the direction of John Kent Fisher, will hold its weekly concert in Capaha Park tonight at 8.

Special guest performer will be vocalist Don Presson. He and Janet Presson are owners of Keyboards & Kindermusik in Cape Girardeau. They teach children 18 months and up general music and keyboards.

As a music evangelist, Presson has performed for churches and civic organizations throughout the state and region. He holds a music degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a vocal performance degree from Southern Seminary.

Presson will perform three selections at the concert.

Celebrity guest conductor for the program will be Charles Hutson of Hutson Furniture. He will conduct "Americans We March."

Other selections on the program will be "Tribute March," "Poet and Peasant Overture," "An American In Paris," "Amparita Roco," and selections from the Broadway musical "Camelot."

The concert is free. Concert-goers should take lawn chairs.
