SMALL ENGINE BUSINESS OPENS IN SCOTT CITY

SCOTT CITY -- McBride Small Engines has opened in Scott City.

Danny and Wanda McBride, who also own McBride Tire Service here, said they will provide repair service on two- and four-cycle engines such as lawn mowers, riding mowers, tillers, trimmers and chain saws.

"We also specialize in hydro-inflation of lawn mower tires," said McBride. "We'll offer free pickup and delivery in the Cape Girardeau, Jackson and Scott City area."

The McBrides operated McBride's Tire Service in Cape Girardeau for more than five years before moving their operation to Scott City a year ago.

"I've been repairing my own lawn equipment for more than six years," said McBride. "Several of my business contacts expressed the need for a small-engine repair service."
