OFFICE FIRM MARKS 10 YEARS

Specialized Office Services Inc. is observing its 10th anniversary this month.

The firm, which sells and services printing equipment, business machines and equipment and graphic arts supplies, has grown from a small operation of three people in the 600 block of South Sprigg to 10 employees in an office at 299 N. Kingshighway.

"We call on printing establishments throughout Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky and Southeast Missouri," said Sherry Eggimann, one of three founders. "We provide printing equipment offset presses, platemakers, and supplies to about 60 percent of the printing firms in those areas."

Eggimann, Brad Eggimann and Edward Dow founded the firm in 1982.

The company is now a dealer for A.B. Dick Products and Konica Business Machines, USA/Inc.

"Konica provides our main copier line," said Sherry Eggimann. "We also have paper shredders and other business equipment."

The firm moved to Kingshighway last October.
