BLOOMFIELD -- George David Henson, 70, of Bloomfield died Sunday, Sept. 27, 1992, at the Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

He was born near Bloomfield on Dec. 29, 1921, the son of Harvey and Viola Fulkerson. On July 6, 1946, he married Lucille Trotter, who survives of the home.

He was a retired carpenter, residing most his life in Stoddard County. He also was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army.

Other survivors include a son, Gary Henson of Bloomfield; four brothers, Jim Henson of West Plains, Leonard Henson of Flint, Mich., Paul Henson of Puxico and Love Henson of Bosie, Idaho; and a sister, Syretha Martin of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
