`DANCETIME': SAN FRANCISCO TROUPE SLATED

Dance Through Time, the San Francisco-based theatrical dance company which showcases dances of the past 500 years, will perform at Academic Auditorium Oct. 17 at 8 p.m.

Dance Through Time will perform the company's signature piece "Dancetime," a sort of time travel of dance.

The program transports the audience on a fantastical journey from the 15th century to the 1990s and covers the globe, from Italy, France and England to the United States. It is punctuated with dialogue, song and music of the times.

With more than 500 authentic costumes to choose from, "Dancetime" is a vibrant theatrical show of life seen through the eyes of dance. Admission is through membership in the Community concert Association.
