The scholarship was established by TG (USA) after the company's positive experiences working with Southeast student interns, officials said. Each semester the industrial technology and management departments recommend a candidate to receive the scholarship. The final decision is made by TG (USA) officials.

The award is open to students majoring in production operations management with a minimum of 85 credit hours. The scholarship is $500 per semester for each of the recipients. Interested students should contact Stan Stough, chairman of the management department, or Randy Shaw, chairman of the industrial technology department, for more information.
