Amy Jean Oldvader and Scot Edward Wanamaker were united in marriage Jan. 6, 2001, at Missouri United Methodist Church in Columbia. Jim Bryan performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Angie Weidinger of Vienna, Mo. Vocalists were John Litten of Nevada, Mo., Erika Knowlan of Jackson, Mo., and Caleb Bryson of Centralia, Mo.

Daryl and Norma Oldvader of Springfield, Mo., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Ralph and Anna Wanamaker of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Emily Bell of Springfield. Bridesmaids were Sarah Watkins and Angela Trantham of Springfield, Kristen Martin of Kearney, Mo., and Joy Wallace of Little Rock, Ark., sister of the groom.

Shane Wanamaker of North Little Rock, Ark., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Clint Chapman of Centralia; John Litten; Caleb Bryson; and Darin Oldvader of Springfield, brother of the bride. Ushers were Tadd Buchanan of Springfield, Dusty Wright of Jackson, and Michael Pike of St. Louis.

Candlelighters were Riqui Nolting and Stacha Billups of Kansas City, cousins of the bride.

Megan Jewsberry of Springfield attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Memorial Union on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 5 at The Pasta Factory in Columbia.

Mrs. Wanamaker is a 1996 graduate of Kickapoo High School in Springfield. She received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. She is a teacher's aide at Claypool Elementary School in Muncie, Ind.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and fitness from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. He is pursuing a master's degree in adult fitness/cardiac rehab at Ball State University.

The couple resides in Muncie.
