WEDDINGS: WHITE-ABBOTT

SCOTT CITY, Mo. Heather Michele White and Elisha Lee Abbott exchanged vows April 28, 2001, at First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau. Neil Sanders performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Brandon Swanner and soloist was Danielle Swanner-Pierce, both of Florissant, Mo.

The bride is the daughter of Randall and Phyllis White of Scott City. The groom is the son of Shirley and Larry Bickle of Garland, Texas, and Daryl Abbott of Arcadia, Fla.

Maid of honor was Valerie Letgrate of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Kelly Smith and Jennifer Ellis of Jackson, Mo., and Shawna Masters of Spring Hill, Kan., sister of the bride.

Collin Folsom of Conway, Ark., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Teets of Conway, Chris Moore of Sarasota, Fla., and James Davis of Muncie, Ind. Ushers were Whitney Masters, brother-in-law of the bride, and Dustin Masters, nephew of the bride.

Candlelighters were Dave and Joyce Bales of Shelby, Mich., uncle and aunt of the bride; Katrina Paubel of Cape Girardeau; and Thomas Krapausky of Olive Branch, Miss.

Flower girl was Megan Brimer, daughter of Michele Bales of Grand Rapids, Mich., and cousin of the bride. Ringbearers were Nicholas and Alexander Edgerly, sons of Robin and Yvonne Edgerly of Casnovia, Mich., cousins of the bride.

Britany Sheffield attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Bavarian Halle in Jackson. Servers were Sheila Gehl, Sherry Sheffield and Angela Crook.

The couple's parents hosted the garden party rehearsal dinner April 27 at the home of the bride's parents.

Mrs. Abbott received a bachelor of science degree in mass communications. She is an assistant account manager at Trozzolo Creative Resources in Kansas City, Mo.

The groom received A-Plus and MCP certifications from Microsoft. He is a technical client service representative at Risco Inc. in Lenexa, Kan.

The couple resides in Lenexa.
