SIKESTON, Mo. -- Charity Spring Coleman and Matthew Stephen VanAmburg were married March 3, 2001, at First Baptist Church in Canalou, Mo. The Rev. Dale Huff performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Shirley Russell, and soloist was Janie Landers.

Parents of the bride are Dewayne and Shirley Coleman of Sikeston. The groom is the son of Stephen VanAmburg of Jackson, Mo., and Sharon Turner of Sikeston.

Matron of honor was Amy Blaylock of Sikeston, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jackie Tedder of Cape Girardeau; Tammy Coleman of Sikeston, sister of the bride; Taylor Coleman of Jackson, niece of the bride; Trish Hennemann of Sullivan, Mo.; and Abbie VanAmburg of Fenton, Mo., sister of the groom.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Mark Kiehne, Sam Brewer and Matt Seabaugh, all of Jackson, Matt Edwards of Fenton, and Drew Coleman of Jackson, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Michael and Tony Coleman, brothers of the bride, and Tom Rau, brother-in-law of the groom.

Candlelighters were Penny Coleman, sister of the bride, and Ami Rau, sister of the groom.

Flower girl was Kimberly Rau, daughter of Tom and Ami Rau and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Jacob Coleman, son of Michael and Tammy Coleman and nephew of the bride.

Deanna and Staci Smith attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Best Western Coach House Inn. Servers were Wanda Dirickson, Charlotte Ford and Sue Smith.

Mrs. VanAmburg is a 1995 graduate of Kelly High School at Benton, Mo. She is a student at National American University in Kansas City, Mo.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed at Lowes Home Center in Olathe, Kan.

The couple resides in Overland Park, Kan.
