Mindy Chong and Doug Dolenc exchanged vows June 23, 2001, at First Baptist Church. Coleman Chong performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Frank and Betty Chong of Cape Girardeau and Ken and Pat Allen of Auburn, Ill.

Matron of honor was Sheri Devillez. Bridesmaids were Jill Chong, Dana Loo, Sheila Meidel and Annette Coleman.

Kent Dolenc served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Derek Chong, Rodney Meidel, Jared Dudley and Bill Marr. Ushers and candlelighters were Jimmy Devillez and Tracer Chow.

Flower girl was Bailey Devillez.

Nancy Wong and Barb Lum attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the University Center Ballroom.

The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner June 22 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Dolenc is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a sales representative with Amgen.

The groom is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield. He is a sales representative with Astrazenecca.

The couple resides in Springfield, Ill.
