JACKSON, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. James D. Perry of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Leigh Perry, to Braden Lusk of Hutchinson, Kan.

Perry is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School. She is a senior at the University of Missouri-Rolla, majoring in civil engineering.

Lusk expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in mining engineering from the university in December.

A Dec. 29 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
