JACKSON, Mo. -- Lisa Gervaise and Brent A. Young were married Aug. 25, 2000, at Balboa Park in San Diego, Calif. The Rev. Malcolm Smith performed the double ring ceremony. Harpist and vocalist was Sylvia Lorraine of San Diego.

Parents of the couple are Anthony and Angie Gervaise of Fresno, Calif., and David and Louise Young of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Isabelle Popejoy of Fresno, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Anna Dellaccio of Lockport, N.Y., Amy Tobias of Indianapolis, Ind., Kim Waggoner of Batavia, N.Y., Alisha Constantino of Islip, N.Y., and Nancy Brennan of Ronkonkoma, N.Y.

David Johnson of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Steven and Gregory Young, brothers of the groom; Nate Young, nephew of the groom; Brad Brandenburg of Jackson; and Craig Waterman of San Jose, Calif.

Ringbearers were Brexton and Adam Popejoy, nephews of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception, dinner and dance was held at the Predo in Balboa Park.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 24 at The Fishery in Ocean Pacific, Calif.

Mrs. Young is a graduate of Lockport High School, Southern University of New York, Cortland and San Jose State with a master's degree in speech pathology. She is employed at Pomerado Hospital.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor's degree in health management from Southeast Missouri State University. He is product manager at SkyDesk.

The couple resides in San Diego.
