JACKSON, Mo. -- Lisa R. Shirley and Michael D. Boone were married Sept. 2, 2000, at the home of the bride's parents in Jackson. Larry Harris performed the double ring ceremony. Vocalists were Rick Shirley, of Marion, Ark., uncle of the bride; and Lynn and Lacey Schweer of Cape Girardeau. They were accompanied on guitar by Todd Shirley of Springfield, Ohio, brother of the bride.

Parents of the bride are Johnnie and Brenda Shirley of Jackson. Daniel Boone of Hayti, Mo., is the groom's father. He is also the son of the late Judy Boone.

Alyson M. Fritz of Berwick, Ill., was maid of honor. Katina Ziegler of Bella Vista, Ark., was bridesmaid.

Flowergirl was Rachael Shirley, daughter of Terry and Karen Shirley of Jackson and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Gabriel Abbott, son of Angela Boone of Hayti, and nephew of the groom.

Brian Boone of Hayti, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsman was Barry Barkovitz of Hayti.

A reception was held following the wedding at the home of the bride's parents.

A rehearsal dinner was held Sept. 1 at the home of the bride's parents.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School and a 1995 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She employed by the state of Missouri.

The groom is a 1986 graduate of Hayti High School and a 1991 graduate of Murray State University. He is employed by the state of Missouri at Cottonwood Treatment Center.

The couple reside in Cape Girardeau.
