JACKSON -- St. Paul Lutheran Church was the setting Sept. 4, 1999, for the wedding of Cara Sue Myer and Timothy Dean Walker. The Rev. David Johnson performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Lois Fehrmann and soloist was Mary Brown.

The former Miss Myer is the daughter of Dolores Myer of Jackson, and the late Bob Myer. The groom is the son of Alma Walker of Stanley, N.C., and the late Gilmer Walker.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother, Keith Myer of Jackson.

Lisa Rogers of Cape Girardeau was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Pam Wright and Gina Kaminskey, sisters of the bride, and Faye Myer, sister-in-law of the bride, all of Jackson.

The groom chose his brother, Ricky Walker of Iron Station, N.C., as best man. Groomsmen were Keith Myer, brother of the bride; Butch Wright and Doug Kaminskey, brothers-in-law of the bride, all of Jackson. Ushers were Butch Wright and Doug Kaminskey.

Candlelighters were Dana and Kaci Wright, Ashley Myer and Cammie Kaminskey, all of Jackson and nieces of the bride.

Programs were handed out by Taylor Myer and Chelsea Kaminskey of Jackson, nieces of the bride.

Flower girl was Jordan Myer, daughter of Keith and Faye Myer and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Brannon Wright, son of Butch and Pam Wright and nephew of the bride.

Melody Walker, daughter of the groom, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Enchanted Gardens. Servers were Kia Kamp, Susan Gay, Cheryl Reisenbichler and Julie Britt.

The rehearsal dinner was held Sept. 3 at Enchanted Gardens.

Mrs. Walker is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is a customer service manager with Arch in Charlotte, N.C.

The groom is sales manager at International Dyeing Equipment Co. in Stanley.

After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Gastonia, N.C.
