Simple courtesy ignored

I WOULD like to Speak Out about proper wedding etiquette and common courtesy. I attended a very elaborate wedding and reception at Christmastime. I bought a very expensive wedding gift for which I have not received a thank-you note. I would like to say that this is improper etiquette and improper manners. As a matter of fact, it's downright rude. I'm sure this grand event was strictly by the book, but they skipped one important page that reads "to send a note of thanks to the attendees and/or persons who send gifts." By not receiving a thank-you note, my impression is that I am not worthy of the time and consideration or that perhaps I should feel privileged that my name was on the guest list. Let this be a lesson that by not taking the time and common courtesy to send a simple thank-you only proves on thing: You're not as good as you think you are.

Little bit too big

I'M AFRAID Bill Clinton has messed around with something that's a little bit too big for him. He has gotten this country into a huge mess this time. Why do you suppose that Russian prime minister turned around and flew back to Russia when he heard the United States was going to bomb Serbia? I've told you Bill Clinton was going to get us all killed, and he'd rather do that than have his name go down in history in a bad way like the most corrupt administration this country has ever known. He'll kill us all before he'd let that happen. But you Democrats insisted on keeping him. Now you've got him. See what he's doing to your people? He's sending your family members over to get killed in another one of his wars.
