WAS ANYONE else upset about the complacent tone of the article in the Missourian about gangs? Why aren't the citizens and the citizen groups of Cape Girardeau in an uproar about criminal gangs taking over a section of the city? Why aren't they demanding an end to an outrageous activity that prevents citizens from driving to an area of their city for fear they will be shot? Maybe we do need citizen militia groups if that's what it takes to end this and protect our city...Riled up about gangs

No crime publicity
I CANNOT believe Speak Out can be used by people saying they will commit a crime by defacing a mural with Rush Limbaugh's picture on it. Shame on the person making those threats, and shame on the newspaper for printing it. Crime shouldn't be publicized.
