RUTH ANN STROER

JACKSON -- Ruth Ann Stroer, 35, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1991, at her home.

She was born Feb. 21, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Marvin and Barbara Jean Friedrich Peetz. She and Richard Stroer were married Aug. 25, 1979, at Jackson.

Stroer had been a secretary at St. Francis Medical Center about five years, until becoming ill three months ago. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, and Friends of St. Francis.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Brian and Nicholas Stroer of the home; a daughter, Stacy Stroer of the home; two sisters, Deborah Peetz of Alexandria, Va., and Karen Strong of Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Church, with Msgr. Edward M. Eftink officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, with parish prayers at 7:30.
