JACKSON -- Dorothy M. Crites, 79, of Jackson, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Oct. 26, 1912, at Millersville, daughter of Walter B. and Flora M. Browning Talley. She married Glenn Crites Sept. 4, 1943. He died Dec. 26, 1980...

JACKSON -- Dorothy M. Crites, 79, of Jackson, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Oct. 26, 1912, at Millersville, daughter of Walter B. and Flora M. Browning Talley. She married Glenn Crites Sept. 4, 1943. He died Dec. 26, 1980.

The Crites operated a day care in their home a number of years. She was active in the Adult and Joy Choirs at First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Willard Crites of Jackson; three sisters, Helen Schnare of St. Charles, Eula Statler and Mabel Seabaugh of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rodney Travis will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
