BEATRICE NEWCOMB GIBSON

WYATT -- Funeral service for Beatrice Newcomb Gibson of Wyatt will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Tom Bridges will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.

Gibson, 71, died Friday, Nov. 22, 1991, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born March 17, 1920, at East Prairie. She married Teddy Gibson Oct. 23, 1937. He died Oct. 31, 1975. Gibson was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Russell and Carl Gibson of Granite City, Ill., David Gibson of Decatur, Ga.; three daughters, Ruth Smith of Miller City, Ill., Judy White of Memphis, Tenn., Merry Hart of Granite City; a sister, Nina Tripp of East Prairie; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and brother.
