PERRYVILLE -- Norbert J. Hotop, 75, of Perryville, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1991 at the Perry County memorial Hospital.

He was born March 14, 1916 in Perry County to the Anton and Louise Pingel Hotop.

He married Edna C. Bohnert on April 18, 1940. She survives.

Other survivors include: three sons, Dale, Donald and David Hotop, all of Perryville; three daughters, Carol Lottes and Virginia LaRose, both of Perryville, and Diane Mattingly of St. Louis; three brothers, Cletus, Elmer "Bud" and George Hotop, all of Perryville; three sisters, Leola Perry of St. Louis, Ann Parker of Springfield, Ill. and Rita Mueller of Peoria, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be today after 4 p.m. at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church at Belgique, Mo. in Perry County. The Rev. Charles Herbst will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

A Parish rosary will be held tonight at 7 at the funeral home.
