ANNA, Ill. -- Lee Ann (Polly) Nimmo, 74, of Anna, Ill. died Saturday, Dec. 14, 1991, at Union County Hospital here.

She was born Mar. 13, 1917 in Union County, daughter of David and Dezia Grear Hinkle.

She was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church and was retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. in Anna.

She is survived by her husband, Howard (Booter) Nimmo of Anna; a son, Weldon Ray Nimmo of Anna; daughter, Sharon Poole of Anna; sisters Helen McCommons of Dongola and Holland Schlensker of New Albany, Ind.; eight grandchildren, including Johnny Nimmo who she raised; and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and two sisters.

Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna, with Rev. Clifton Lingle officiating. Burial will be in the American Legion Cemetery at Dongola.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
