ANNA L. SMITH

CAIRO, Ill. -- Private graveside service for Mrs. Anna L. Smith of Cairo will be held at 10 a.m. today at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Robert Burchyett will officiate, with Barkett Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith, 95 years old, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1895, in Bearden, Ark., daughter of James and Ida Virginia Broshears Jackson. She married William E. Smith, who died in 1962.

Mrs. Smith was a licensed practical nurse.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Armstrong of Cairo; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
