JACKSON -- Funeral service for Albert Louis Schloss of Jackson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Emanuel United Church of Christ. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Schloss, 82 years old, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 1991, at his home.

He was born April 9, 1908, at Jackson, son of Louis and Matilda Bingenheimer Schloss. He and the former Minnie Bock were married Feb. 13, 1934, at Jackson.

Schloss was a fireman and truck driver 34 years at Kasten Brothers Brick Co. He was a member of Emanuel Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Schloss of St. Louis, Larry Schloss of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Kaye Lee of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bill Schloss of Jackson; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
