PERRYVILLE -- Joseph Aloysius Hayden, 78, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 21, 1991 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. PERRYVILLE -- Joseph Aloysius Hayden, 78, of Perryville died Thursday, Feb. 21, 1991 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 12, 1912, the son of Lon L. and Lunnette Magdelen Brewer Hayden.

He was a retired dairy farmer.

On Nov. 9, 1933 in Perryville he married the former Lucille E. Hoffman. She survives.

In addition, he is survived by three sons, Michael Hayden, Jackson, Stanley J. Hayden, St. Louis, Robert A. Hayden, Jackson, Ga.; two daughters, Norma Hitt, St. Louis, Bonnie L. Laney, Atlanta, Ga.; five brothers, J. Edward Hayden, J. Bertrand Hayden, Chalmer Hayden, Joseph F. Hayden, J. Donald Hayden, all of Perryville; and two sisters, Elinor M. Greminger and Mary T. Greminger, both of Ste. Genevieve.

One son and two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Perryville.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at Drayton Funeral Home in Perryville. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Also, a Knights of Columbus service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
