Burlbaugh, 71 years old, died Wednesday, March 27, 1991, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Aug. 23, 1919, at Fredericktown, son of Charlie and Pearlie Huggens Burlbaugh.

Burlbaugh was a retired farmer and carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of VFW Post 3838.

Survivors include a son, James Burlbaugh of Scott City; two daughters, Elaine Leimbach of Scott City, Judy Pender of Cape; a sister, Effie Lowery of Marble Hill; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
