VIOLA A. SAPIENZA

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Viola A. Sapienza of Tucson, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lawrence Eatherton will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Sapienza, 70 years old, died Wednesday, April 10, 1991, at Northwest Hospital in Tucson.

She was born Oct. 5, 1920, in Jackson, daughter of Paul and Ida Koechig Nagel. She married Vincent Sapienza in 1945. He died Nov. 13, 1965. The family moved from Jackson in 1960. She was a retired seamstress.

Survivors include a son, Tony Sapienza of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a daughter, Pamela Sapienza of Tucson; a brother, Bill Nagel of Jackson, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Leona Altenthal.
