IDA E. MALONE

SIKESTON -- Ida E. Malone, 79, of Sikeston, died Saturday, July 27, 1991, at her home.

She was born Feb. 25, 1912, at Dexter, daughter of Robert Joel and Clersey Garner Edwards. She married Daniel E. Malone Feb. 18, 1947, at Sikeston. He died July 21, 1990.

Malone had worked at Leslie Insurance, Powell Insurance Co., and Bob Nowell Insurance and Construction Co., all in Sikeston. She was a member of First Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star 137.

Survivors include two sisters, Ailene Gierse of Farmington and Ruby Yanson of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lee Brummel will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery here.
