CHARLES E. STALLINGS

Charles E. Stallings, 67, 510 N. Fountain, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born July 20, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, son of Everett S. and Mabel Babb Stallings. Stallings was a graduate of Central High School, and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1950. He was an apartment manager and salesman, and member of VFW Post 3838. Charles E. Stallings, 67, 510 N. Fountain, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born July 20, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, son of Everett S. and Mabel Babb Stallings.

Stallings was a graduate of Central High School, and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1950. He was an apartment manager and salesman, and member of VFW Post 3838. Stallings served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairmount Cemetery. The Rev. John Ferguson will officiate, with military rites by VFW Post 3838.

Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
