ADVANCE -- Nancie Ann Hindman, 92, of Advance, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1991, at the Advance Nursing & Residential Care Center.

She was born Nov. 18, 1898, in Zalma, daughter of W.H. James and Della Deck James.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the General Baptist Church of Brownwood.

Hindman first married Ora Beal; he died Feb. 20, 1920. She later married Monroe Hindman in Bloomfield on April 3, 1923; he preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1974.

Survivors include: three daughters, Helen Woodfin of Puxico, Jane Acord of Zalma and LaVerne Ford of Wappapello; one brother, Arthur James of Puxico; three half-brothers, Leon Lewis and Leland Lewis both of Sturdivant and Joe Lewis of Wappapello; one half-sister, Nellie Liley of Advance; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one step-grandson.

She was preceded in death by one son, Lester Beal, and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Norman Elledge will officiate. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
