EGYPT MILLS -- Funeral service for Jessie Reiss of St. Louis was held Saturday at St. Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Louis. Burial was in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Reiss, 88, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991.

She was born Nov. 30, 1902, in the Egypt Mills area, daughter of Guy and Anna Schwettman Wall. She married Joseph F. Reiss, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Joseph J. Reiss; a daughter, Aurelia Schmidt; a twin sister, Julia Garcia; 10 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Mrazek.
