CHARLESTON -- Alvina Stader, 71, of Charleston died Thursday, Oct. 31, 1991, at her home.

She was born Dec. 9, 1919, at Advance, the daughter of William Chester and Maud Alliston Hunt.

On July 28, 1959, she married Lonnie Stader, who preceded her in death March 18, 1986.

She lived in Charleston since 1945, where she managed the Russell Hotel Coffee Shop, John's Drive-In, and then was co-owner and operator of Stader's Highway Market until her retirement in 1976. She was a member of the Baptist denomination.

Three brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Shirley Lundberg of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Betty Cornelius of Bradford, Penn.; a sister, Alma Murphy of Charleston; two step-granddaughters; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Robert Burke will officiate, and burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Charleston.
