ADELINE M. VANDE VEN

LEOPOLD -- Adeline M. Vande Ven, 71, of Marble Hill, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1991, at the family home.

She as born at Glennon on Dec. 5, 1919, daughter of Robert W. and Clara DeBrock Jansen.

On April 16, 1941, she married Irvin J. Vende Ven. He survives of Marble Hill.

Also surviving are three sons, Donald Vande Ven, St. Joseph, La., Stanley Vande Ven, Leopold, Roger Vande Ven, Marble Hill; two daughters Wilma Thele, Jackson and Glenda Myracle, Jackson; two brothers, Robert Jansen, Leopold, Arnold Jansen, Marble Hill; six sisters, Clara Macke, Leopold, Sister Mary Jane Jansen, Leopold, Agnes Broshuis, Leopold, Rose Macke, Toledo, Ohio, Loretta Blattel, Chaffee, Nettie Thele, Leopold; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild.

One daughter, a sister and one grandson preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold and a member of the Ladies Sodality.

Friends may call today after 3 p.m. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Parish prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Rosary at 8 p.m.

Service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church, with the Rev. Michael Casteel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
