ELLA KURRE

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Mrs. Ella Kurre of Jackson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Mrs. Kurre, 81 years old, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 1990, at Jackson Manor.

She was born May 27, 1909, at Jackson, daughter of Louis and Catherine Schrumph Bingenheimer. She married Roy Kurre Sept. 20, 1930, at Jackson. He died June 6, 1985.

Mrs. Kurre had lived in Jackson since 1930. She worked at International Shoe Co. here a number of years. She was also secretary of the family business, Kurre Cream and Egg Market, 12 years. Mrs. Kurre was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ, charter member of its LLL Class and Friendship Circle, and taught Sunday School several years.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two infant children, five brothers and three sisters.
