CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Jewell W. Perrin, 78, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 1990 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 13, 1912 near Charleston.

On Aug. 26, 1960, she married Clarence L. Perrin at Fredericktown. He preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1970.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and June Matthews, Tucson; Jerry and Judy Matthews, Marion, Ill.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was of the Methodist faith and was raised near Wyatt in Mississippi County.

She worked at International Shoe Company. She retired in 1977, after 20 years service with Wisconsin Barge Lines.

The body is at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, and funeral arrangements will be announced.
