ALICE BAKER

LUTESVILLE -- Service for Alice Baker will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Lutesville, with Rev. Terry Sander officiating. Burial will be in Glen Allen Cemetery.

Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Baker, of Marble Hill, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 1990 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 24, 1899, near Marble Hill, daughter of Henry and Sophia Dieckroeger Filer.

On Oct. 2, 1920, she married John W. Baker. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1975.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gable of Jackson, Russell Ramsey of Puxico, and Wesley Ramsey of Marble Hill; and two sisters-in-law, Stella Filer of Jefferson City and Eula Filer of Fredericktown.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alveda Russell, four brothers, and five sisters.

She had retired from Deevers Shoe Manufacturing at Marble Hill.

She was a member of the Union Ridge Congregational Methodist Church.
