MARGARET GEAN GOODMAN HARRIS

SIKESTON -- Margaret Gean Goodman Harris of Mountain View, Ark., formerly of Sikeston and East Prairie, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 1990, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was 63 years of age.

She was born Aug. 12, 1927 in Morehouse to the late Dennis David and Tamsy Leora Parker Goodman.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Proceeding her in death were her husband, Arvle Harris and one daughter.

Survivors include one son, William Ray Harris of Allegan, Mich.; one daughter, Barbara Batten of Mountain View; four sisters, June Woods of Murray, Ky., Patsy Kimbrell of Newburg, Ind., Evelyn Wallace of Harrisburg, Ill., and Lois Johnson of East Prairie; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ernest Brown of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Cairo, Ill. officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie.
