Willard Morgan, professor of educational administration and counseling at Southeast Missouri State University, attended the Foreign Policy Conference for Educations in Washington, D.C. recently.

The conference offered educators an opportunity to participate in foreign policy briefing sessions with U.S. Department of State and other governmental officials. The meeting was designed to encourage and assist educators who teach world affairs and related subjects. Ranking government officials also participated.

The conference was sponsored by the Department of State and the National Council for the Social Studies, the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Morgan is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals Committee for Professors of Secondary School Administration and Supervision. He is in his second year of a three-year term on the committee. He represents a region consisting of Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona.
