BELL CITY -- The 11th annual Bell City Community Days picnic is being planned for Sept. 6 and 7.

Entertainment for the first day of the picnic will be highlighted by the Mid-South Fair Youth Talent Show. Competition will be in two age groups, 9- to 12-year-olds and 13- to 21-year-olds.

Winners will compete in the Mid-South Fair in Memphis Sept. 20-29. For more information about the contest, contact Pat Nichols at 733-4533.

A parade is scheduled for Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. in downtown Bell City as part of the two-day picnic. Horseshoe and volleyball contests are planned for that afternoon, along with live musical entertainment.

Other activities include a cutest baby contest, cutest little boy-girl contest, Little Missy and Master contest, Little Miss Community Day contest, Miss Pre-Teen contest, and Junior Miss Community Day and Miss Community Day contests.
