SALES PROMOTION

A former Cape Girardeau man, Michael R. Logel, has been named regional director of sales for Best Foods Baking Group, headquartered in Fairfield, N.J.

Logel will be sales director in the Central Region, comprised of nine states, including Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky. He has served as division and district manager in other areas of the Grocery Products Group of Best Foods.

Logel, a 1974 graduate of Cape Central High School and 1978 graduate of Southern Illinois University, will be headquartered in Chicago. He and his wife, Phyllis, and daughter, currently live in Algonquin, Ill. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert W. Logel of Cape Girardeau.
