CENTRAL GRADUATE EARNS SCHOLARSHIP

Tanya Matzat, of Cape Girardeau, was awarded the Virginia Hultz Booth Memorial Scholarship from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Education.

Matzat, who is majoring in secondary math education, received the scholarship at the annual fall scholarship reception, when the college awarded more than 90 scholarships.

Matzat is a graduate of Central Senior High School and is the daughter of William and Bonnie Matzat.
