ACCIDENT INJURES MOTORIST

MARBLE HILL -- An Advance woman was injured Thursday in a two-vehicle accident near Marble Hill.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Donna Nankivell, 26, received moderate injuries when a vehicle driven by Brad Kirkpatrick, 20, of Marble Hill made a left turn into the path of the car she was driving.

The patrol said Nankivell was traveling north on Highway 51, two miles south of Marble Hill, when the accident occurred at 3:50 p.m. Kirkpatrick, who was traveling south at the time of the accident, was ticketed for failure to yield, the patrol said.

Nankivell was in stable condition late Thursday night at St. Francis Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.
