FORMER NATIVE OPENS MARKETING AGENCY FOR FOOD

Nina Swan-Kohler, formerly of Pocahontas, Mo., has opened a new food marketing agency Swan-Kohler and Associates in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Swan-Kohler, a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau, has more than 15 years experience in communicating the benefits of food products.

She was most recently employed by CMF&Z Advertising and Public Relations as an account supervisor. She has also held positions with National Oats Company, St. Louis Dairy Council and the Missouri Department of Agriculture.

She holds a master's degree in home economics and communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is chairman of the Iowa State University's College of Family and Consumer Sciences Advisory Board.
